On the evening of August 6, 2011, officers from the Dauphin Municipal RCMP Detachment were called to a home on Johnson Street regarding a disturbance.
Officers attended the scene and learned that an argument between a couple lead to the male assaulting his girlfriend and damaging some of her property. RCMP report that the male was arrested.
A 28-year-old Dauphin man has been charged with assault and mischief and has been remanded in custody to appear in Provincial Court in Dauphin.
