Participants at the Drive One 4 UR Community Program held in Grunthal this past weekend.
Fairway Ford in Steinbach has helped raise approximately $4,800 towards a new play structure for the Grunthal Community Park this past weekend.
“We had 243 people come out and drive a new Ford” says Nicky Felsch, Sales Assistant at Fairway Ford. “We’re extremely excited about the potential $4,860 raised that will go towards the new play structure in Grunthal.”
Felsch also noted that the weather was perfect for the Drive One 4 UR Community Program, with many of the participants inviting a friend or family member to attend as well.
Sources say that the Ford Mustang was by far the most popular vehicle to test drive.
Fairway Ford reports that they were extremely happy with the turnout, considering they only had a short time-frame to get the word out. Fairway said that they would definitely love to be a part of another community event such as this again.
