On August 19, 2011, at approximately 4pm, Flin Flon RCMP were dispatched to Naosap Lake to investigate the discovery of a body that had been found floating near the shore.
The deceased has been identified as 45-year-old Pamela Ann Garson of Flin Flon, Manitoba. Garson had been reported missing to the Flin Flon Detachment on August 18, 2011.
An autopsy took place August 21 in Winnipeg, however, the cause of death has not yet been determined.
Members of the Flin Flon RCMP Detachment, RCMP Major Crime Services and The Pas Forensic Identification Section continue to investigate to determine the circumstances of this death.
