Co-chairs represent riding leadership and diversity
With a provincial election to be called within a week, Steinbach Constituency P.C. Candidate Kelvin Goertzen announced the co-chairs for his re-election bid today.
“I really proud of the election team that we’ve assembled for this campaign. They represent the leadership of our region, its diversity and its success,” said Goertzen.
Giving guidance to the campaign are its four co-chairs, Reeve Stan Toews of the R.M. of Hanover, former Steinbach Mayor Les Magnusson, former President of the Southeast Filipino Association, Jorie Sawatzky (nee Morrisseau) and Steinbach resident Bev Penner, wife of former Steinbach MLA Jim Penner.
“Kelvin represents the values of our community while providing a strong voice and vision for its future. Most importantly he puts people first and cares about the individual needs of residents,” said Magnusson.
“Kelvin has been a strong supporter of the Filipino community and new residents to the Steinbach Constituency and I am pleased to support him as our MLA,” commented Sawatzky.
