A 7-year-old boy from Winkler has died after being run over by a combine this past week near Darlingford, Manitoba.
On September 9, 2011, at about 6:30pm, Crystal City RCMP as well as local Emergency Services were dispatched to the scene of a fatal farm accident in the RM of Pembina near Darlingford, Manitoba.
Investigation to this time indicates that a 7-year-old boy from Winkler had been riding on a combine with family members. The boy exited the combine and was run over by the machine. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Police say that the name of the deceased will not be released.
The investigation continues.
