Manitoba Conservation is encouraging Manitobans to take advantage of the good weather and enjoy fall camping at certain Manitoba provincial park campgrounds this weekend.
Campgrounds open until Thanksgiving Monday (Oct. 10) include:
• the campground at Winnipeg Beach Provincial Park, a new campground that opened earlier this summer;
• the yurts and the campground at the upper Kiche Manitou campground in Spruce Woods Provincial Park near Carberry;
• the Blue Lakes campground in Duck Mountain Provincial Park near Swan River;
• the Big Whiteshell Lake campground in Whiteshell Provincial Park;
• the yurts and the campground at Nutimik Lake in Whiteshell Provincial Park;
• the campground at Falcon Beach in Whiteshell Provincial Park;
• the campground at West Hawk Lake in Whiteshell Provincial Park;
• the Otter Falls campground in Whiteshell Provincial Park;
• the Bird Lake campground in Nopiming Provincial Park; and
• the Tulabi Falls campground in Nopiming Provincial Park.
All provincial campgrounds will be closed for the season after the long weekend.
