Marijuana discovered at a home in the RM of Mountain.
On October 15, 2011, at about 2pm, Swan River RCMP executed a CDSA (Controlled Drugs and Substances Act) search warrant at a residence near Birch River in the RM of Mountain, Manitoba.
Police say that investigators discovered a number of marijuana plants, processed marijuana and growing equipment at the home. The estimated street value of the seizure is approximately $50,000.
Two adults were arrested at the residence, 52-year-old Wayne Edward Cordon and 43-year-old Phyllis Bella Genaille. Both have been charged with production of a controlled substance and trafficking of a controlled substance.
The accused have been released from custody and are scheduled to appear in Swan River Provincial Court on November 2, 2011.
Police continue to investigate.
