On November 2, 2011, at about 11am, East St. Paul RCMP were dispatched to the North Perimeter by the Main Street Boat Launch where it was reported that a vehicle entered the Red River.
East St. Paul RCMP along with East St. Paul and West St. Paul EMS attended the scene. RCMP report that attempts to locate the vehicle by boat have been unsuccessful at this time.
RCMP have no information that anyone was in fact in the vehicle at the time.
At present, the RCMP Underwater Recovery Team will be attending the scene in an attempt to locate the vehicle.
The investigation continues.
