RCMP have located a young woman, who was one of four boaters reported missing from Garden Hill FN last week.
On November 13, 2011, shortly after 1pm, 15-year-old Sheyenne Keno of Garden Hill FN was found on the Island Lake River. A volunteer from St. Theresa Point located the young woman deceased in the same vicinity of where 15-year-old Jordan Day was located the day prior.
The search for the last missing boater, a 21-year-old man from Garden Hill FN, will continue by RCMP members and local volunteers. The area has experienced some poor weather during the night, making conditions very poor.

On November 15, 2011 at about 1:30 pm, a volunteer searcher from the Community St. Theresa Point located the body of the fourth missing boater, 21-year-old Kirk Keno of Garden Hill FN. RCMP members along with volunteers have been relentlessly searching for the missing boaters since they were reported missing. This concludes the search for the four missing boaters. The RCMP Island Lake members would like to extend sincere thanks to everyone who provided assistance in the search.
