A Dauphin man was arrested this past weekend after RCMP discovered that he was heavily intoxicated and in breach of probation.
On November 12, 2011, at approximately 6am, officers on patrol from the Dauphin Municipal RCMP observed 2 males walking along Main Street. Police say that the males appeared to be heavily intoxicated when the officers stopped to speak to them.
RCMP report that one of the males was found to be on probation with a condition that he abstain from drinking.
The 22-year-old Dauphin man was arrested and has been released on a promise to appear for court on November 29, 2011.
