A man has died after he lost control of his pick-up truck and crashed this past week in the community of Waywayseecappo FN.
On November 16, 2011, at approximately 12:50am, Prairie Mountain RCMP responded to a single vehicle rollover in the community of Waywayseecappo FN, Manitoba.
Investigation revealed that a 2000 Dodge Ram pick-up lost control while traveling south and overturned into a slough. The lone passenger, a 32-year-old Waywayseecappo man was able to safely exit the vehicle. However, the 32-year-old Waywayseecappo male driver perished on scene.
The name of the deceased is not being released pending notification of next of kin.
Police say that alcohol and icy road conditions are considered to be contributing factors.
Prairie Mountain RCMP, along with the Manitoba West District Criminal Crash Investigation Team and “D” Division Traffic Services continue to investigate.
