The RM of De Salaberry has decided that they will spend tax payers’ money close to home instead of funding a medical facility in Niverville.
Council made the decision after they received a funding request to help with improvements to the wellness services offered at the Niverville Primary Health Care Center. The municipality was asked to contribute $10,000 towards the project.
The RM of De Salaberry council says that they could not financially support the project on the grounds that they were currently working on the same type of facility within their own boundaries.
