Central Plains RCMP are investigating a robbery that occurred at at Arrowhead Crescent Gas Bar in Long Plain FN last week.
On December 3, 2011, just after 10:30pm, Portage la Prairie RCMP received a report of a robbery at Arrowhead Crescent Gas Bar in Long Plain FN, Manitoba. Portage Police Dog Service and Portage General Investigative Section attended and assisted in the investigation.
Investigation revealed that a lone male entered the Gas Bar and demanded the cashier give him the money from the cash register. Once obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, it is believed that the suspect fled from the building. No injuries were reported.
Police say that the suspect was described as being male, native in appearance, approximately 6′ tall, stocky build with brown hair. He was wearing a blue hooded shirt with the hood up, a green jacket and black balaclava. Police were unable to locate the suspect.
