21-year-old Robbie Carpentier is wanted by police.

The Grand Rapids RCMP Detachment along with the RCMP “D” Div Major Crime Services from Thompson are investigating a home invasion that occurred this past weekend.

Early January 7, 2012, at about 4am, four individuals broke into a Grand Rapids residence, assaulted the occupants and stole an undisclosed amount of money and jewelry. Two adults, a man and a woman, were in the home at the time of the invasion and sought after medical attention for non-life threatening injuries.

30-year-old Rhonda Carpentier and 29-year-old David Walker were arrested in connection with this incident and have since been charged with a number of charges including robbery and break and enter. They remain in custody.

A warrant of arrest has been issued for 21-year-old Robbie Carpentier who has yet to be located. He is described as aboriginal, black hair and brown eyes, thin build, 5’4″ and 169 lbs.

The fourth assailant has yet to be identified.

Since the initial incident, Grand Rapids RCMP received a report of a shooting, where a local unoccupied vehicle was damaged. No injuries were reported and the incident is suspected to be in relation to the initial home invasion. This matter is still under investigation.
