On January 21, 2012, just after 2:30am, Oakbank RCMP were dispatched to a complaint of an armed robbery at a gas station at the junction of the Trans Canada Highway and PR 207 in the RM of Springfield.
RCMP report that a lone male entered the business brandishing a weapon and demanded cash. The suspect received an undisclosed amount of cash from the clerk and fled westbound on the Trans Canada Highway in a black Chevrolet pick-up truck.
The suspect is described as wearing a black jacket. His face was covered during the robbery.
No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.
