At about 7:30pm, on January 30, 2012, Stonewall RCMP were dispatched to the scene of a four vehicle collision on Highway 6 just north of Warren, Manitoba.
Investigation indicates that two pick-up trucks and a mini van as well as a semi-truck were in a multi vehicle collision at that location.
Witness reports advise the van was southbound when it lost control and collided with a northbound pick-up truck, which then collided with the second pick-up truck. The tractor trailer managed to avoid the collision, but went into the ditch.
The highway was closed for approximately 3 hours while the scene was cleared and the semi was towed out. There were five vehicle occupants in total, two were transported to hospital for treatment of undetermined injuries.
Road conditions were reported to be very slippery with reduced visibility at the time of the collision.
Police continue to investigate.
