Early this morning, Selkirk RCMP and emergency services responded to the scene of a fire at a commercial building in the 900 block of Main Street in Selkirk, Manitoba.
At approximately 6:30am on February 28, 2012, a passing motorist observed the fire and notified emergency services.
RCMP report that the fire was brought under control and an adult female was located with injuries sustained as a result of the fire. She has been transported to hospital with undetermined injuries.
The Manitoba Office of the Fire Commissioner is assisting with the investigation. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
Police continue to investigate.
