An Ochre River man and a Sandy Bay First Nation man are facing numerous breach of probation charges after being found intoxicated and disruptive this past week.
Around 6:30am on March 2, 2012, officers from the Dauphin RCMP detachment were called to a disturbance at a home in Ochre River, Manitoba. Officers attended and learned that three men, one of whom lives at the home, had returned home intoxicated and were being disruptive. Officers determined that two of the men were bound by conditions of court orders and in addition, one of the men had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. The three men were arrested.
21-year-old Edward James Sutherland of Ochre River, has been charged with 2 counts of breach of recognizance. 23-year-old Richard William Sutherland of Sandy Bay First Nation, has been charged with 2 counts of breach of probation. Both men have been remanded in custody to appear in Dauphin Provincial Court. The third male was not charged.
