RCMP seized an amount of cocaine and marijuana at a Cross Lake residence this past weekend after executing a CDSA search warrant.
On March 3, 2012, members of the Cross Lake RCMP executed a CDSA (Controlled Drugs and Substances Act) search warrant at a residence in Cross Lake, Manitoba. The warrant was executed with the assistance of the RCMP Manitoba North District Crime Reduction Enforcement Support Team (CREST) and the Thompson RCMP Police Service Dog Team.
Approximately $30,000 dollars worth of cocaine and marijuana was seized along with approximately $2,000 in cash, one hand gun and several rifles and weapons.
Two adult males, 20 and 21 years of age, were arrested and are facing charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking, as well as various weapons related offences.
Police continue to investigate.
