On March 22, 2012, at approximately 11pm, Steinbach RCMP detachment, along with Steinbach RCMP Traffic Services and Sprague RCMP Detachment, responded to a sexual assault complaint in the City of Steinbach.
Two 17-year-old females were walking on Barkman Avenue near Main Street in Steinbach, when an unknown male riding a bicycle grabbed one of the females on the breast and then rode off.
Police say that the suspect is described as a caucasian male, thin build with short black hair. At the time of the incident, the suspect was wearing a green shirt and black dress pants. The bicycle is described as a “10-speed” style bicycle with curved handlebars.
Steinbach RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying this person.
Police believe this is an isolated incident and are continuing to investigate.
