A body discovered last week in the area of Benito, Manitoba, has been identified as that of Beverly Chartrand.
Chartrand was reported missing and last seen walking near her home in Benito on January 8, 2012.
On March 22, a body was discovered at an outdoor area in Benito, Manitoba. A post mortem was conducted in Winnipeg on March 26 and confirmed the identification of the deceased as being 30-year-old Beverly Chartrand of Benito, Manitoba.
Police say that Benito’s death is not considered suspicious in nature. As such, RCMP will not be releasing the cause of death.
