The Winnipegosis RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in locating 44-year-old Ralph Joseph Chartrand of Mallard, Manitoba.
Following a sexual assault investigation in the spring of 2011, Chartrand was arrested and charged with sexual assault and later released on a recognizance. Chartrand was to comply with several conditions, including observing a curfew.
On January 28, 2012, members of the Winnipegosis RCMP Detachment attended Chartrand’s residence and found that he had not been complying with the conditions of his curfew. He was later located, but fled from police.
A warrant for Chartrand’s arrest was issued by the Dauphin court. To date, members of the Winnipegosis RCMP have been unable to locate Chartrand.
Ralph Joseph Chartrand is described as aboriginal in appearance, 5’9″, 182 lbs, black hair and brown eyes.

RCMP report that Ralph Joseph Chartrand has just turned himself in to Winnipegosis Detachment.
