With seeding operations underway, Keystone Agricultural Producers reminds Manitobans to be aware of farm equipment that is also sharing the road.

Tractors may be travelling at less than 30 kilometers per hour, so it is important to decrease your speed immediately when you see flashing lights and a slow-moving vehicle sign. Please, be patient – and only pass when it is safe to do so.

KAP also reminds farmers to practice due diligence by ensuring that their farm equipment is well marked, and when required, that adequate lighting is in place. We encourage farmers never to leave equipment on the side of the road unattended.

By working together, we can all ensure that this is an accident-free seeding system for everyone.
