On April 26, 2012, at about 10:15pm, Stonewall RCMP Detachment responded to a 911 call at the Race Trac Gas station in Stony Mountain near Highway 7.
Upon arrival, RCMP learned that the store had been robbed by two masked individuals. It was learned that the pair entered the store and demanded money and cigarettes.
Police say that the suspects fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash and that no one was hurt in the incident.
Despite immediate patrols of the area, the suspects could not be located.
The suspects are described as both wearing black ski masks, black clothes and at least 5’8″ tall. One is describes as being slim while the second individual as being about 200 lbs.
