Just before 7pm on April 26, 2012, officers from the Grandview and Dauphin RCMP Detachments responded to a report of a break and enter in progress at a home in Gilbert Plains.
Officers arrived on scene approximately 10 minutes after receiving the call and found the home had been entered but the suspects had fled on foot. Based on witness descriptions of the two suspects, officers were able to locate and apprehend them moments later. Officers recovered money and other articles believed to have been stolen from the home.
Police say that no one was home at the time of the break-in.
RCMP report that 18-year-old Christopher Lyle James Brazeaux and 18-year-old Tyson Lee James Bogoslowski, both from Dauphin, have each been charged with a number of criminal offences including break and enter and possession of stolen property. They have each been remanded in custody to appear in Provincial Court in Dauphin.
