On May 1, 2012, at about 9:15pm, Wabowden RCMP Detachment were advised that 40-year-old Joseph Krystal of Wabowden was missing and could not be located.
To date, RCMP inquiries determined that he was last seen Saturday, April 28 around supper time in Wabowden. However, he did have telephone contact Sunday April 30 in the morning. There has been no contact with family and friends since.
RCMP report that Krystal’s vehicle and dog are also missing and unaccounted for.
Joseph Krystal is described as a Caucasian man, 5’10” tall, 145 lbs, brown hair with a moustache, balding and brown eyes.
Krystal’s vehicle is described as a grey 2009 Ford ranger 1/4 ton pick-up truck with Manitoba licence plate FFX 207. The rear window of the truck has a distinct image of a white-tailed deer covering the entire window.
Based on the investigation and inquiries to date, RCMP are concerned for his well-being. Anyone with information on his whereabouts or may have seen his vehicle is asked to contact the Wabowden RCMP at (204)689-2152.

After an extensive search, Joseph Krystal has been located deceased. Police say that his death is not considered suspicious.
