Steinbach RCMP are asking the public for assistance in connection with an incident involving the theft of copper wire that occurred in the RM of La Broquerie last week.
Sometime between Wednesday evening May 15 and Thursday morning on May 16, 2012, several lengths of copper wire were stripped off conveyor machines at a Diamond Construction & Gravel pit located at 30017, Road 36 East, in the RM of La Broquerie.
The wiring has a value estimated between $15,000-$20,000.
Police have no leads at this point and are asking the public for assistance. Anyone with information is asked to call Steinbach RCMP at 326-4452 or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477(TIPS).
