The RCMP Selkirk Detachment would like to remind the public that road closure barricades erected to manage the flooded areas, particularly along River Road in the RM of St. Andrews, need to be respected.

RCMP Selkirk Detachment has received some complaints of this issue from emergency personnel. The barricades have been erected for public safety purposes. Those that fail to obey the barricades may face charges under the Highway Traffic Act.

With the potential water levels fluctuating and current ice jams, please respect the barricades.  It is for your safety.
