On June 13, 2012, just after 2am, Powerview RCMP as well as local emergency services were dispatched to the scene of a fatal single vehicle rollover on Highway 11 near Powerview-Pine Falls.

Initial investigation indicates that a 2005 Dodge Caravan was southbound on Highway 11 when it left the roadway, rolling over at least once. Police say that the driver, a 34-year-old man from Sagkeeng FN, was pronounced deceased at the scene. There were no other persons or vehicles involved.

An RCMP Traffic Collision Analyst attended to assist with the investigation.

Seat belt use is considered a factor in this fatal collision.

RCMP continue to investigate.
