Traffic was lined up along PTH 10 for about 1 km prior to the opening of the gates to Countryfest this past Wednesday afternoon.
RCMP report that officers patrolling the highways around the Countryfest site issued at least 32 tickets for speeding, 4 for other traffic offences and 1 for open liquor.
Police say that there were no calls for service to the site on Wednesday.
RCMP officers will be conducting checkstops in the Dauphin area throughout the weekend.
