Four adults are facing drug related charges after RCMP executed 2 search warrants this past week in Portage la Prairie.
On June 22, 2012, Portage RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence on 2nd street NW in Portage. As a result of the investigation 20 grams of cocaine was seized.
29-year-old John Allen Aymont, 25-year-old Jolene Lynn Grossman and 28-year-old Blaine Roy Knott, all of Portage la Prairie, have been charged with several charges under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act including possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine. All three all have been released on Recognizance to appear in Portage la Prairie Court on August 27, 2012.
In an unrelated investigation, on June 23, 2012, Portage RCMP executed a search warrant at an apartment on Oak Bay in Portage la Prairie, resulting in the seizure of a small quantity of cocaine.
As a result of the investigation, 31-year-old Lori Ann Isfeld has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. Isfeld was also released on recognizance to appear in Portage la Prairie Court on August 27, 2012.
