RCMP are notifying the public that Adrian Albert Hofer, a high risk sex offender, is scheduled to be released from Stony Mountain Institution today.
The Manitoba Integrated High Risk Sex Offender Unit (MIHRSOU) is a joint forces unit of the Winnipeg Police Service and the RCMP. MIHRSOU today provides information regarding 22-year-old Adrian Albert Hofer, an offender convicted of two counts of sexual interference and one count of forcible confinement, who is considered a significant risk to become involved in further offences.
Hofer is described as Caucasian. 178 cm (5’8”) in height, weighs 86 kg (189 lbs) with brown hair and brown eyes.
Hofer will be released from Stony Mountain Institution in Stony Mountain, Manitoba on July 17, 2012. He is expected to take up residence in the rural area of Southeast Manitoba. Upon release Hofer will be under probation supervision until July 17, 2015.
Although Hofer participated in some sex offender treatment programming while in prison, he is still considered a significant risk to re-offend. Male children are at risk.
