On July 20, 2012, at about 2:30am, Portage la Prairie RCMP as well as local emergency services were dispatched to the scene of a restaurant fire in MacGregor, Manitoba.
On arrival, police observed the business of Wayne’s Family Restaurant to be fully engulfed by flames. Neighboring businesses on either side of the restaurant were also damaged in the blaze.
The Manitoba Office of the Fire Commissioner attended to assist with the investigation.The cause has not yet been determined and there were no injuries reported.
Police say that the building is a complete loss with no damage estimate is available at this time.
The investigation continues.
