On July 25, 2012, Steinbach RCMP received a report of mischief to the greens at Quarry Oaks golf course near Steinbach.
Police say that the first incident occurred on July 22, 2012, when an all terrain vehicle drove onto one of the greens and caused damage by doing “power turns” on the green. A similar incident occurred on July 25, where again an all terrain vehicle caused damage to a different green.
RCMP report that the damage has been estimated at approximately $3,000. Entry onto the golf course appears to have been from Road 38 N, in the RM of Ste. Anne, Manitoba.
