A 16-year-old Dauphin youth was arrested by officers from the Dauphin Municipal RCMP detachment early Saturday morning for breaching conditions of his probation.

Police say that the officers had been called to a disturbance around 1:45am at a home on 3rd Avenue N.E. in Dauphin. When officers attended they recognized the youth and were aware of an outstanding warrant for his arrest. The youth was arrested and it was then determined that he was also bound by conditions of a probation order.

The youth has been remanded in custody to appear in court in Dauphin on July 31, 2012.
