On September 1, 2012, just after 1pm, St-Pierre-Jolys RCMP as well as local emergency services were dispatched to the scene of a single vehicle rollover collision on Gosselin road, south of St. Malo.
Investigation indicates that a 2003 GMC pick-up truck was travelling west on Gosselin Road when it left the roadway, rolling over at least once.
Police say that the driver, a 59-year-old man from Winnipeg, was transported to hospital with undetermined injuries. His condition deteriorated, and he died in hospital. There were no other persons or vehicles involved.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
