Just after 7pm on September 16, 2012, officers from the Dauphin Municipal RCMP detachment responded to a report of mischief.
Police say that a young male had just broken a window out of a vehicle parked on 1st Avenue NE, then walked away. As officers were en-route to investigate, they received a second report of mischief about 3 blocks from the first. RCMP believed that the same young man was responsible. At the second location, a window in a parked vehicle was chipped.
RCMP report that the youth was arrested for mischief. Investigators later determined that the youth was on probation and an undertaking and was in breach of each order.
Police have charged a 17-year-old Dauphin youth with two counts of mischief, two counts of breach of probation and two counts of breach of undertaking.
