Souris RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance into five separate break-ins that are believed to have occurred in the town of Souris between 8pm on September 16 and 8am on September 17, 2012.
Three of businesses, which included two Hair Salons and the local Newspaper office, were located in one complex. Entry was gained to these premises by forcing open a door. A fourth business, which was an insurance agency, was entered via a window. All four of theses businesses were located on Crescent Avenue West. A fifth break and enter was reported to have occurred during the same time frame to a tea house, located on 1st Street South. Entry was also gained by forcing open a perimeter door.
Police say that an undisclosed amount of cash and coins were stolen from some of the businesses.
