On September 28, 2012, following an investigation by the Steinbach RCMP, 39-year-old Corwin Dyck of Steinbach was charged in connection with two recent robberies. The robberies occurred at two businesses, one in Steinbach on September 26 and the other in Landmark on September 19.
RCMP report that an undisclosed amount of cash was stolen in both robberies.
Corwin Dyck was remanded into custody pending a court appearance this morning in Winnipeg.
Police say that investigators were able to identify the suspect from tips received from the public as a result of the photos released to the media.
