On October 6, 2012, just before 9pm, officers from the Dauphin Municipal RCMP detachment received a report of a robbery that had just occurred.
Police say that a 19-year-old male who was walking near Main Street, was approached by another male who demanded that he empty his pockets. The victim complied as the suspect had produced a knife. The suspect then went with the victim to a nearby store where the victim was able to call police.
On Sunday morning, a 17-year-old Dauphin youth was arrested without incident. He has been charged with robbery, uttering threats and breach of probation.
RCMP report that no one was injured during the incident.
