A man and woman are facing numerous drug related charges after being arrested this past week by police.
On November 2, 2012, following an investigation by the RCMP Teulon Detachment, a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant was executed at a residence in the Town of Teulon.
Police say that the search resulted in about 10 grams of cocaine seized, $375 in cash and other related items, including drug paraphernalia. The estimated street value of the drugs seized was $600.
RCMP report that a man and a woman were arrested at the residence.
39-year-old Trevor Michael Ewankiw of Teulon has been charged for possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking under the CDSA and possession of property obtained by crime under the Criminal Code. A 38-year-old female has not been charged as of yet but will also face a charge possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking under the CDSA.
Both have since been released from custody. Trevor Michael Ewankiw was released on a recognizance with conditions. The woman was released on a promise to appear with undertaking. Both are scheduled to attend Teulon Court.
