Holiday Pops Concert in Steinbach.
The Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra’s 2012 Holiday Tour is coming to Steinbach on Tuesday, December 4th at the Steinbach Mennonite Church.
The annual holiday concert showcases classical and contemporary holiday music and sing-along that the whole family will love. Also featured at the concert will be the SRSS Female Intermediate Choir, directed by Kristel Peters with guest soloist Naomi Foreman.
This year, the Steinbach Arts Council is looking for two grade 5-6 students to play an anvil along to the infamous Anvil Chorus composed by Giuseppe Verdi. Students can apply by writing a few lines describing their idea for the most creative use of for an anvil. Collection boxes will be at school music rooms.
