Steinbach resident Linda Boldt is smiling this holiday season after winning $25,000 with her lucky “Countdown to Christmas” lottery ticket.
Linda was at home when she scratched her $2 Scratch ‘n Win ticket that was purchased at the 7-Eleven located at 40 Brandt Street in Steinbach. She uncovered three lucky dates on the countdown grid with the $25,000 amount underneath.
“I started screaming and jumping around doing the happy dance!” Linda said. “I had to call my brother right away to tell him.”
Linda thought that she might by herself a new car with her winnings as an early Christmas present.
