RCMP are currently investigating the homicide of a 42-year-old man that was found deceased at a Plum Coulee residence earlier this week.
On December 30, 2012, at about 8:15pm, Altona Police Service received a report of an injured male at a residence in the town of Plum Coulee. Altona Police Service along with area EMS attended the residence and located a deceased 42-year-old male.
RCMP D Division were contacted by the Altona Police Service and requested to provide expertise in the investigation. RCMP D Division Major Crime Services and the RCMP Forensic Identification Section were dispatched and are currently conducting the investigation along with the Altona Police Service, Winkler Police Service and Morden Police Department.
RCMP report that a 14-year-old male youth has been arrested in connection with this homicide. Police say that no charges have been laid as of yet.

On December 31, 2012, the 14-year-old male youth suspect was charged with second degree murder. The autopsy was completed and the cause of death was attributed to multiple stab wounds.
