Lott Campbell of Moose Lake is facing 2nd degree murder charges after being arrested by police this past week in connection with the death of a 24-year-old Moose Lake man.
On January 3, 2013, at 11pm, Moose Lake RCMP were dispatched to a disturbance at a residence in Moose Lake. Upon attendance, RCMP located an unconscious and injured 24-year-old Moose Lake man in the residence. Resuscitation attempts were made to no avail.
Police investigation revealed that an argument lead to an altercation resulting in the death of the Moose Lake man.
RCMP report that 32-year-old Lott Campbell of Moose Lake was arrested and has since been charged with 2nd degree murder in this matter. His first court appearance is scheduled for January 7, 2013 in The Pas.
Police say that both males were known to each other.
Moose Lake RCMP is investigating the homicide along with the RCMP Thompson Major Crime Unit, D Division Serious Crime Unit and RCMP The Pas Forensic Identification Unit.
