On January 9, 2013, at about 7:30am, Headingley RCMP as well as local emergency services were dispatched to the scene of a two-vehicle collision on McGillivray Boulevard in the RM of MacDonald.

Initial investigation imitates that a 2004 Nissan Maxima was in collision with a 2011 Volvo S80. The driver of the Maxima, a 30-year-old man from Winnipeg, was transported to hospital with what was reported to be non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the Volvo, a 49-year-old woman from the Starbuck area, was not injured.

RCMP report that there were no other persons or vehicles involved.
