Gods Lake RCMP are currently investigating the sudden death of a Gods Lake Narrows First Nation female youth.
On January 6, 2013, Gods Lake RCMP were advised that a body had been located at an outdoor location on Gods Lake Narrows First Nation.
RCMP report that the deceased was identified as 15-year-old Leah Anderson of Gods Lake Narrows First Nation.
An autopsy has been completed and RCMP investigators are treating the death as a homicide.
Police continue to investigate.
