Three individuals are facing numerous drug related charges after being arrested by police this past weekend in Fairford.
On January 20. 2013, at about 5:30pm, following an investigation, Gypsumville RCMP Detachment executed a search warrant at a residence in Fairford. The search warrant resulted in the seizure of 12 grams of marijuana, various drug paraphernalia and related items.
RCMP report that three individuals were arrested at the residence.
A 48-year-old Fairford man will be charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking. He has been released on a promise to appear in St. Martin court on March 6, 2013.
A 19-year-old Fairford man was arrested at the residence on an unrelated outstanding warrant for his arrest and has been remanded into custody.
A 44-year-old Fairford woman was also arrested and released on a promise to appear in St. Martin court on March 6, 2013. She will be charged with possession of a controlled substance.
Police continue to investigate.
