On January 20, 2013, at about 6am, Cross Lake RCMP Detachment responded to a disturbance at a large house party on Mission Point in Cross Lake.
RCMP officers arrived at the residence and found a 19-year-old local man suffering from life-threatening injuries. He was transported to the local nursing station where he later succumbed to his injuries.
RCMP report that Four individuals were arrested in relation to this matter and have since been release without charge.
RCMP Cross Lake Detachment continue to investigate with the assistance of the RCMP D Division Serious Crime Unit, the RCMP Thompson Major Crime Unit, the RCMP Thompson Forensic Identification Services along with other additional resources.
