On January 24, 2013, at about 11:30pm, Elphinstone RCMP were dispatched to a complaint of an armed robbery that had occurred at the gaming centre on the Keeseekoowenin First Nation.
Investigation indicates that a lone male wearing a balaclava entered the premises brandishing a firearm and demanding cash and cigarettes. The man then fled on foot with cigarettes and an undisclosed amount of cash. RCMP report no injuries in this incident.
Police say that the suspect is described as wearing a green camouflage jacket and dark pants.
